1. Who we are

Tabwheel is provided by [Your name / company] (“we”, “us”). Contact: [contact email]. By creating an account or using Tabwheel, you agree to these terms. If you use it for a business, you agree on that business's behalf.

2. Early access

  • Tabwheel is in early access. It's free, it's still changing, and some things may not work perfectly.
  • Places are by invitation. We may pause or end early access, and we'll give you reasonable notice if we do.
  • If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you the prices before they apply. You won't be charged unless you choose a plan.

3. Your account

  • You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure; anyone who can sign in to it can open your workspace.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account.
  • You must be at least 18, or old enough to make this agreement where you live.

4. Your content

  • What you put in Tabwheel stays yours. You give us permission to store, copy and show it only so we can run the service for you.
  • You're responsible for your content and for having the right to keep it, including any personal details about your customers or staff. For that information, you're the controller and we process it on your behalf, as described in our privacy notice.
  • You can export your data at any time from the workspace menu.

5. Fair use

Please don't use Tabwheel to:

  • break the law, or store content you have no right to;
  • store passwords, card numbers or other secrets in notes (use a password manager and link to it);
  • try to get into other people's workspaces, or test our security without asking us first;
  • overload the service, scrape it, or resell it.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we'll tell you first and give you the chance to export your data.

6. Availability and backups

We work hard to keep Tabwheel running and your data safe. We back up the database every night and keep each copy for 30 days. Uploaded files aren't in that backup, so keep your own copy of anything you can't lose. We can't promise the service will never be interrupted or that data can never be lost, especially during early access.

7. Our liability

  • Tabwheel is provided “as is” during early access, free of charge.
  • We're not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably foresee, or for business losses such as lost profit or lost opportunity.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
  • [Any cap on liability — for a solicitor to set]

8. Ending

You can stop using Tabwheel at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end these terms with reasonable notice, or straight away if you seriously break them. Either way, you'll have the chance to export your data unless the law stops us.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using Tabwheel and export your data.

10. The law

These terms are governed by the law of [England and Wales], and the courts there can hear any dispute. If you're a consumer, you keep any rights the law where you live gives you.
